Bio:

I am a California credentialed teacher with a Masters in Education emphasizing early literacy.  I have more than 12 years teaching experience in the primary grades K-3.  I have put my full-time teaching career on hold to raise my four children but remain involved in all areas of their education.  I love to be part of young students' learning as they acquire and develop their early literacy skills.  My teaching partner, Missy Ruiz, and I have been friends for more than 20 years. We make a wonderful teaching team as we both have the same educational beliefs and philosophies.  We taught PreK Scholars together last year and were so proud of the academic growth of our students in just a few short weeks.  We have embraced this program 100% and want to expose as many young minds to it as we possibly can.
