Bio:

My son was a student of the program founder, Amy Schwary, and I fell in love with this program!  After substituting with Miss Amy a few times, I knew that Brenda and I would make a great team teaching this program. With Kindergarten being as challenging as it is these days, this program exposes children to many different experiences which will help them succeed!


I am a former Kindergarten, First and Second Grade educator with experience in the Irvine Unified School District for 4 years and Long Beach Unified School District for 3 years.  Currently I am staying at home with my 2 children, as well as teaching  2 PreK Scholars classes out of my teaching partner's home.  My partner, Brenda Lavin, and I met over 13 years ago in our credentialing courses.  We were lucky enough to work together in Irvine, as well as become great friends.

New this fall, I will be teaching a Wednesday afternoon class with Julie Larner, who is a Pre K Scholars veteran.  Julie and I met when I substituted with her for the program's creator.  She is amazing with the students and I am so excited to be working with her.
