I really LOVE the PreK scholars curriculum, and so does my 4 year old. It is JUST what I was looking for to get her ready for Kindergarten. We are a military family and are living on Oahu- I love living here, but the cost for pre-school here on the island is more than I wanted to pay. Scholarville

The multicultural town of Scholarville has 26 inhabitants, one for each letter of the alphabet. Each character has a different occupation and a unique motion for kinesthetic learners. The curriculum works its way through the town introducing letters and sounds along the way. Large and small Scholarville maps suitable for the classroom and/or a child's room are available in the Pre K Scholars Store.

Scholarville Phonics Cards

The DVD has digitized the Phonics Cards to animate the characters and introduce the sounds and motions unique to each letter. Children meet the characters and make a letter-sound-motion-character association. Hard copy Phonics Card Sets 4" x 6" and 8" x 10", are available in the Pre K Scholars Store.

Guessing Game

A child favorite, the full color, 4" x 6" vocabulary development Guessing Game cards provide three clues of a person, place or thing that begins with the sound of the letter under study. There are 5 cards/letter in each of three sets, 130 cards/set. A digital, animated version of Set 1 is included in the Core Curriculum DVD. Printable Activities

Part of each of the 22 lessons, there are more than 150 fun, educational activities included in the DVD. These emphasize phonics, math, handwriting, early reading, fine motor skill development and science.
